Aims: The Union aims to co-ordinate the activities of all Muslim organisations in the UK and Eire, and to be the representative body of British Muslims in negotiations with the British government and other governments and international bodies.

Help available: The UMO National Muslim Education Council offers help to teachers, such as guidelines and a syllabus for Islamic Education. The UMO offers help to individual Muslims to practise the tenets of Islam while at work.
