At the November meeting of the full RE Council, there was strong feeling that the TDA decision to end the funding of Subject Knowledge Booster Courses in RE would have negative consequences for recruitment to PGCE courses in 2009. Accordingly, it was agreed that a statement of real concern regarding this decision should be sent to the Minister of State. Since this was a unanimous view, it would be accompanied by the names of everyone present.
