Hindu Academy continues to challenge the demarcation between religious and non-religious world-views. It recognises the need of reconciliation between these world-views in order to make RE relevant and exciting for the modern youth.

  • 1. Hindu Academy continues to offer talks on Science and Faith (or Spirituality) at various sixth forms as well as at Universities and other venues.
  • 2. The Hindu Academy also recognises the importance of Humanism to come to terms with spirituality in a non-religious mode and thus continues to interact in a constructive manner with the British Humanist Association. This dialogue can be viewed at: www.humanism.org.uk/documents/4421
  • 3. Challenging the paradigm of Materialism: Reocrded for TED at Warwick University. Video can be accessed by clicking: www2.warwick.ac.uk/newsandevents/audio/more/tedx/?podcastItem=jay_lakhani.mp4
