The Farmington Institute was founded to support, encourage and improve Christian education in schools, colleges and universities. It is ecumenical in its commitment to the Christian faith and takes a particular interest in and is keen to develop good relationships with other world religions. The Institute provides Farmington Fellowships for primary and secondary school teachers, teachers of RE to children with Special Educational Needs, and headteachers. The Farmington Papers, provided free to members of the Institute, are aimed at RE teachers and others interested in theological and religious subjects. Conferences and seminars are arranged from time to time.
