The Episcopal Vicariate practices and promotes Orthodox Christian faith, worship and pastoral care within Great Britain and Ireland. A part of the worldwide Orthodox Church, the Vicariate is under the episcopal oversight of Bishop Basil of Amphipolis, of the Exarchate of Parishes of the Russian Tradition in Western Europe, within the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.
